How the checker works today

This first release checks your message against 12 known scam patterns — gift-card demands, urgent threats, fake account-verification links, the “family in trouble” story, and more — entirely on your device. Nothing you paste is sent to a server or stored.

What's coming

The depth release adds live link and domain-age checks and a plain-language explainer layer, plus a weekly board of scam waves drawn from official FTC and CISA alerts — all with the same privacy promise and strict safeguards.
